Love and Compassion ...

It was inspiring and heart warming to see how the whole world got together to lend a helping hand ...

Here is my personal story of what happened that day ...
We were vacationing in Sri Lanka when the 2004 Tsunami happened

Next day morning we all went down to help the people that were affected

On our way down we saw lots and lots of people. All going down to the affected area to help
They came in old cars, vans, buses and motor cycles
They were not rich
But these Villagers had got up early in the morning and cooked food and they all had one thing in mind - To help the people in need

This was long before any of the disaster relief organizations came to help

In the makeshift camps the feeling was not one of despair
But of Compassion and Hope

Starting that day
We helped to treat people in a makeshift Medical clinics
Later We joined hands with like minded organizations and helped rebuild homes, Medical Clinics and a Pre School

We got our funds from ShopSaveFeelGood.com and the generous donations of people like you

The most beautiful thing I saw was how the whole world responded to this tragedy with overwhelming Kindness and Compassion

Since then
We have donated funds to

  • Haiti where a good friend of mine Dr Julian Choe does clinics
  • People affected by Hurricane Sandy - Will share their heart warming stories next time
  • People affected by the Tornadoes in Oklahoma
  • and the list goes on and on

I wish we had a way to prevent these disasters
But letting these folks who are affected know that they are not alone - goes a long way
And actually helping them to rebuild their lives - now that to me is priceless
